Ancholme rowing club is a small but friendly rowing club situated in the heart of Brigg, North Lincolnshire. We welcome all rowers and scullers of any ability, and have a happy mix of social and competitive rowing.
Rowing is an excellent sport for general fitness, and if you have never rowed before we will be glad to show you. We have boats for complete beginners through to the most experienced oarsman.
Ancholme Rowing Club meet at the Boat House every Sunday through out the year at 10.30am, and 6.30pm on Tuesday evenings during the summer, for beginners and experienced rowers.

We organise one main event during the year, the British Rowing affiliated Ancholme Head over 2800m.
Ancholme Rowing Club is located on Manley Gardens in the centre of Brigg, North Lincolnshire. As you are travelling along the A18 turn into Bridge Street opposite the P & B agricultural machinery company. Take the first right off Bridge Street on to Manley Gardens, between A F Carpets and the Chinese restaurant. The Rowing Club is on the left behind the blue gate.
Membership is open to all above the age of 12 years old.
You must be able to swim 100m in light weight clothing and have no medical condition that would put you or other members of the club or public at risk.
The first three visits to the club are free of charge, and then if you decide to join, the rates for the year are:-
Full member: £165 per year payable in April each year.
Junior member: £99 per year payable in April each year.
Concessionary member: £82.50 per year payable in April each year.
Racking: £123.75 per year payable in April each year.
Non Rowing: £49.50 per year payable in April each year.
All fees are due in April. New members pay a proportion of the fees depending on the month of joining. Subscriptions can be paid by monthly standing order.
